Exploring the Yucatán Peninsula by bicycle is a unique way to discover a centuries-old culture! From the temples of Chichén Itzá to the ruins of Cobá—vestiges of Mayan grandeur—from the charming colonial architecture of Mérida and Izamal, from the magnificent natural limestone pools known as “cenotes” to the white sandy beaches of Tulúm and the time-tested flavours of local specialties. The bicycle becomes a divine vehicle in this land blessed by Mayan gods!

The package includes:

- round-trip air transportation for passenger and bicycle with Air Transat;
- 7 nights in three- to four-star hotels (double occupancy);
- 7 breakfasts and 7 evening meals;
- bus trips.

From 12 to 28 cyclists, accompanied by our guide and a local guide.

Start/Finish: Montreal-Trudeau/Cancún > Cancún/Montreal-Trudeau.

From day to day

Itinerary: 336 km
Day 1 Arrival in Cancún, trip to Tulúm*.
Day 2 Tulúm, Gran Cenote, Macario Gómez, Cobá (49 km).
Day 3 Cobá, Chanchen, Xocen, Valladolid (75 km).
Day 4 Valladolid, Uaymá, Tinúm, Balabtum, Dzitás, Pisté, Chichén Itzá (62 km).
Day 5 Chichén Itzá, Pisté, Dzitás, Quintana Roo, Tunkás, Sitilpech, Izamal (75 km).
Day 6 Izamal, Citilcum, Tekanto, Bokobá, Cacalchén, Tixkokob, Mérida (75 km).
Day 7 Trip to Tulum, free day.
Day 8 Free morning, trip to Cancún airport and return trip to Montreal.

*Visit to an archaeological site (additional charges apply).

More than mere guides, they are genuine travel enthusiasts—curious, passionate teachers with great respect for the host countries. Better yet, our guides put their personal imprint on their routes and know how to make your trip an unforgettable journey. So with us, you will receive all the assistance you need while remaining as free as a bird. Now that’s peace of mind!
 

The full-comfort packages include:
  • air transportation for passengers and their bicycles (if necessary);
  • bus, train, ferry trip and domestic flight (if necessary);
  • accommodations in two-, three- or four-star hotels, double occupancy;
  • all breakfasts and some evening meals (excluding all beverages, alcoholic or not);
  • baggage transportation (one bag per person, 15-kg maximum);
  • mechanical assistance and access to a relief vehicle;
  • daily route plans;
  • the presence of one or two experienced guides.

The prices include taxes and the $3.50 contribution per $1,000 of services purchased to the Compensation Fund for Customers of Travel Agents.

Equipment (e.g., bicycle) is not included.
