Explore at your own pace

Have an insatiable hunger for cycling? Explore the maps—and menus—of Alsace. From delicious drinks and cheeses to half-timbered houses, your route will feature all manner of Alsatian delights. What better appetizer than Colmar, the wine capital of Alsace! Rieslings, Tokay Pinots Gris and Gewürztraminers are sure to get your taste buds buzzing. Feel like a snack? Münster and its famous cheese are certain to hit the spot. Or try baeckeoffe, a hotpot of vegetables and meat, or a white cheese tart. From the Kreuzweg and Charbonnière passes, savour the view of the Black Forest—without all the chocolate shavings and cream that cover its namesake… Alsace: you’re sure to want seconds!
