Every year, the now classic Petite Aventure Desjardins heralds the beginning of summer biking. School is out. Vacation time is here. The mood is positive. So make the most of it! This cool excursion is designed for all those wishing to do some relaxed biking along quiet, virtually flat roads. This year, the Lanaudière and Lower Laurentians regions are in the spotlight. On a looped route from Crabtree to L’Assomption, via Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines, you will wend your way past fields, maple trees and bends in the Achigan, L'Assomption and Ouareau Rivers. And you will say to yourself: “Long live summer!”

Something new: tent rental service
This year, so that you can focus solely on your vacation, the Petite Aventure Desjardins is offering a tent rental service. It includes a four-person tent, pitching and dismantling each day we change stopover towns, as well as delivery of your baggage inside the tent. Excluding sleeping bags and pad.

From day to day

Short route: 132 km • Long route: 228 km

Day 1 - Starting from Crabtree. Cycling via Sainte-Marie-Salomé, Saint-Jacques, Saint-Roch-de-l’Achigan, Saint-Roch-Ouest, Saint-Lin-Laurentides, Sainte-Sophie, Mascouche, Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines (52 or 75 km).
Day 2 - Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines, Terrebonne, Mascouche, L’Epiphanie, L'Assomption. Optionnal looped route via Mirabel, Saint-Roch-de-l’Achigan (47 to 77 km).
Day 3 - L'Assomption, Saint-Paul, Saint-Ligori, Crabtree. Optionnal looped route via Lavaltrie, Lanoraie, Saint-Thomas (54 to 76 km).

The Petite Aventure Desjardins is three beautiful days of bicycle bliss. Attracting 1,700 participants of all ages, this trip is always extremely popular.

The Grand Tour Desjardins, which has become a veritable bicycle-tourism institution in Quebec, brings together an impressive pack of 1,800 cyclists, who cover approximately 600 km at their own pace over seven days.


The major cycling trips include:
  • meals (excluding alcoholic beverages);
  • baggage transportation;
  • support on the road;
  • mechanical assistance;
  • relief vehicles;
  • activities at the village;
  • a participant’s booklet with daily routes and tourist information.

The prices include taxes and the $3.50 contribution per $1,000 of services purchased to the Compensation Fund for Customers of Travel Agents.

Personal equipment (tent, bicycle, etc.) is not included.
