Cuba is the infinitely blue sea, the soft white sand, the inimitable rhythms of the music and the warmth of the people. The Oriente route explores the eastern coast of the island and Santiago de Cuba, one of the oldest cities in North America and the Caribbean. The roads of the region are incredibly quiet, the sand and sea omnipresent.

The package includes:

- round-trip air transportation for passenger and bicycle with Air Transat;
- 7 nights in two- or three-star hotels (double occupancy);
- 7 breakfasts, 4 evening meals;
- bus transfers.

From 12 to 25 cyclists, accompanied by our guide and a local guide.

Cuban airport tax is not included (25 convertible pesos).
Possibility of extending your stay: hotel package available for an extra fee.

Start/Finish: Montreal-Trudeau/Holguín > Holguín/Montreal-Trudeau

From day to day

Short route: 253 km • Long route: 360 km

Day 1 - Arrival in Holguín and transfer to the hotel in Guardalavaca.
Day 2 - Free day or looped route via Playa Blanca (32 or 64 km).
Day 3 - Transfer to Holguín. Cacocum, Bayamo (56 km).
Day 4 - Bayamo, Palma Soriano (82 km). Transfer to Santiago de Cuba. Long option: Bayamo, Santiago de Cuba (125 km).
Day 5 - Free day in Santiago de Cuba.
Day 6 - Santiago de Cuba, Baconao (50 km).
Day 7 - Transfer to La Trocha. Guardalavaca (65 km ).
Day 8 - Transfer to Holguín airport and flight back to Montreal.

The full-comfort packages include:
  • air transportation for passengers and their bicycles (if necessary);
  • bus, train, ferry trip and domestic flight (if necessary);
  • accommodations in two-, three- or four-star hotels, double occupancy;
  • all breakfasts and some evening meals (excluding all beverages, alcoholic or not);
  • baggage transportation (one bag per person, 15-kg maximum);
  • mechanical assistance and access to a relief vehicle;
  • daily route plans;
  • the presence of one or two experienced guides.

The prices include taxes and the $3.50 contribution per $1,000 of services purchased to the Compensation Fund for Customers of Travel Agents.

Equipment (e.g., bicycle) is not included.
