Destination Itinerary and map

Explore at your own pace

February 2010 marks the fourth edition of the La Vuelta cycling tour around the historical lighthouses of Puerto Rico. This destination is extremely popular among avid cyclists, and for good reason. It's as breathtakingly beautiful as it is demanding, covering 600 kilometres in three days! The route, which consists mainly of secondary roads, crosses 43 coastal towns.

Day 1 takes you from San Juan to Ponce (237 kilometres), Day 2 from Ponce to Mayaguez (171 kilometres) and Day 3 from Mayaguez to San Juan (209 kilometres). The architectural beauty of the lighthouses, the stunning natural scenery and the unrivalled hospitality of the people of Puerto Rico make this an unforgettable excursion. And February, with its cooler weather and minimal rainfall, is the best time to enjoy it. Are you up for the challenge?

P.-S. — Canadian champion several times over (road and trail) and a very friendly cycling enthusiast, Yannick Cojan will be more than pleased to share his vast experience as a racer and trainer with you.

The package includes:

- round-trip air transportation for passenger and bicycle with American Airlines;
- 7 nights in two- to three-star hotels (double occupancy);
- 6 breakfasts, 3 lunches and 3 evening meals;
- bus trips;
- registration to the event and the official jersey.

From 12 to 28 cyclists, accompanied by our trainer and our guide.
