Explore at your own pace

Go back in time and follow the route taken by Champlain in his exploration of America. Cycling on a mainly smooth-paved road through the undulating valley bearing his name provides an ideal opportunity to take in the beauty of the Adirondacks and Lake Champlain and follow their natural extension into the Richelieu Valley as far as Saint-Jean. As for relaxing and enjoying the comforts of life, Lake George, Ticonderoga and Plattsburgh have everything you need. They also offer a rich heritage echoing the 18th and 19th century colonial wars, such as the replica of Fort William Henry, Fort Ticonderoga and the War of 1812 Museum.

Inspired from the 2010 Grand Tour Desjardins
