Kansas City–Louisville
Here, in the heart of America, you will experience the wide open spaces of cowboy country, reminiscent of road movies like Paris-Texas or Easy Ryder. From Kansas to Kentucky, via Missouri and Illinois, you will bike through the farm plains of the United States. In Kentucky - home to whisky and bluegrass music -, as you ride along the popular Bourbon Trail, you will soon see why this State is known as Horse Country! On a more urban note, stop at Kansas City, the university town of Lawrence, and of course St. Louis, for a view of its famous 192-meter-high Gateway Arch, which was completed in 1965 and commemorates the country’s westward expansion.
