Explore at your own pace

The epicurean in you will love it! Travelling from Santiago to Buenos Aires via the Andes will give you a taste of the countless attractions offered by both countries. The wine-producing Colchagua and Uco Valleys will appeal to your bacchanalian side, while the oceanfront will provide you with a breathtaking view of the hillside seaport of Valparaiso. Portillo will leave you with an indelible memory from atop its 2,800-meter peak, while Puente del Inca, The Inca’s Bridge, will astonish you. The descent from the Andes to Mendoza will thrill you, the hot springs of Las Cuevas will relax you and the Argentinean wine region will seduce you. And lastly, cultural Buenos Aires will have you up dancing the tango.
The package includes:
  • round-trip air transportation for passenger and bicycle with Air Canada;
  • 18 nights in two- to four-star hotels, (double occupancy);
  • 18 breakfasts and 6 evening meals;
  • domestic flight with Lan Airlines from Mendoza to Buenos Aires;
  • bus transfers;
  • baggage transportation (one bag per person, 20-kg maximum);
  • mechanical assistance and access to a relief vehicle;
  • daily route plans;
  • taxes and the $1 contribution per $1,000 of services purchased to the Compensation Fund for Customers of Travel Agents.

Day 0 - Departure from Montréal.
Day 1 - Arrival in Santiago and transfer to the hotel.
Day 2 - Free day. Transfer to Rancagua (2 hrs)
Day 3 - Rancagua, Donihue, Coinco, Quinta de Tilcoco, Malloa, San Fernando (90 km).
Day 4 - San Fernando, Santa Cruz (50 km).
Day 5 - Santa Cruz, Palmilla, Santa Julia, Lago Rapel (90 km).
Day 6 - Lago Rapel, San Pedro, San Antonio (80 km).
Day 7 - San Antonio, Cartagena, El Tabo, El Quisco, Algarrobo, Casablanca (80 km).
Day 8 - Free day or looped route around Casablanca.
Day 9 - Casablanca, Las Tablas, Valparaiso (50 km).
Day 10 - Free day or looped route via Vina del Mar.
Day 11 - Transfer to Portillo. (4 hrs)
Day 12 - Portillo, Puente del Inca, Punta Vacas, Polvaredas, Uspallata (95 km).
Day 13 - Uspallata, Potrerillos, Lujan de Cuyo, Chacras de Coria (105 km).
Day 14 - Free day or looped route via Maipu.
Day 15 - Chacras de Coria, San José, Tupungato, Tunuyan (95 km).
Day 16 - Transfer to Mendoza. Free day.
Day 17 - Flight to Buenos Aires and transfer to the hotel (2 hrs).
Day 18 - Free day.
Day 19 - Transfer to Buenos Aires airport and flight back to Montréal.
Day 20 - Arrival in Montréal.

Our packages include:
  • air transportation for passengers and their bicycles (if necessary), as well as transfer between airport and hotel;
  • bus, train, ferry trip and domestic flight (if necessary);
  • accommodations in two-, three- or four-star hotels, double occupancy;
  • all breakfasts and some evening meals (excluding all beverages, alcoholic or not);
  • baggage transportation (one bag per person: 20-kg maximum with air travel; 15-kg miximum without air travel);
  • mechanical assistance and access to a relief vehicle;
  • daily route plans;
  • the presence of one or two experienced guides;
  • taxes and the $1 contribution per $1,000 of services purchased to the Compensation Fund for Customers of Travel Agents.
Equipment (e.g., bicycle) is not included.

Transportation
Your package includes air transportation for you and your bicycle for all overseas destinations, as well as a few in the United States. It also includes, once you reach your destination, transfers to and from the airport and hotel. For certain U.S. destinations, your package includes round trip bus transportation, as well as transportation of your bicycle. According to the destination, bus transfers between stopover towns and ferry travel are usually included in your package.

Ground portion: you have the option of purchasing only the ground portion of our trips, which excludes air transportation for you and your bicycle.

Accomodations and Meals
You will have double occupancy accommodations at two-, three- or four-star hotels. Our packages include all breakfasts and certain evening meals, at a restaurant or the hotel. You are free to have lunch where you please.

Baggage Transportation
Day after day, your baggage will be transported to your hotel without you having to worry about a thing. All you need to carry with you is a bag containing the personal items you need for the day.

On the road
Each day, you will start off at your own time and pace. You will be provided with a detailed route map, as well as GPX data for certain departures. Also, optional routes will allow you to extend certain segments.

You can count on the presence of your guide at all times. You can contact the latter by phone to request assistance in getting back on the road in case of a mechanical breakdown. If you are unable to complete the day’s ride, your guide will drive you and your bicycle to the next stopover town.
